Samson Energy Company, LLC ("SEC") was formed in December 2011 to continue the development and growth of the oil and gas assets retained by the Schusterman family following the sale of Samson Investment Company to KKR & Co. after 40 years of profitable growth. These assets are located in the Gulf Coast areas of Texas and Louisiana and the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico.
SEC is a privately held energy company with its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a division office in Houston, Texas, and field offices in Liberty and Beaumont, Texas. The Company has a proven track record of using its collaborative team structure to quickly analyze and pursue promising opportunities.
SEC is well capitalized with very experienced exploration and development teams. This enables the Company to invest in its significant asset plays and further expand its portfolio of energy investments.
